All you wanted to do is take a week off. You booked a cheap cruise, but soon you realise you got yourself into a nightmare unlike anything else. Can you find out what happened and escape with your life?
CONTROLS:
- w/a/s/d - move
- rmb - flashlight
- e - interact/take item
- f - close note

It's ok but would be better if on the part where you are trying to hide from the crew member you could run because they move fast and I couldn't make it so I didn't finish your game and I would have liked to, but I tried like 15 times.
The timing is not the easiest thing, but once you figure out when to move, its actually fairly easy, nowhere near impossible. But thanks anyways for giving the game a try!
Fun, pretty chill horror experience
Had a interesting story that started to become reveled as you played.
Enjoyed learning about the cult and what it was doing.
Wasn't too terrifying but gave me chills here and there.
The ambiance I think got to me the most.
Got both ending and all 5 figurines.
Curious if the cookie clicker game would yield anything new but didn't stick around long enough to try.

I'm quite bad at these types of games, but I had a really good time c: I ended up inadvertently getting both endings while trying to get my revenge on the flashlight crew member haha. One of the endings really got me spooked for a while.
My only wish is that you please add in an option to leave the captain's room and go shoot that guy on the deck.
You can't shoot that person on the deck, he is my best friend and went with me through hours of playtesting :)

I played your game for my channel and enjoyed the air of mystery as you slowly find out everyone's story and the main story through the note and environment also I like lovecraftian type stuff
I also spent like 5 to 10 minutes on the cookie clicker part

Great game! Though unfortunately there is a glitch where if you open the laptop, none of the icons show up, leaving you softlocked and having to restart. Other than that, I liked what you did with this!

From a name like DEAD CRUISE, i really expected a stereotypical zombie game ( i like those ). I was pleasantly surprised by the turn this took and how unique it was. A very linear game which has a surprising amount of replayability. This was great !

I failed a chess puzzle (because I didn't read the letter first lol), and it became inactive, I can't interact with it anymore. Tried to die - didn't help.
Well, if you could try again, it would be trial and error, you can always start the game again for the second ending :)

Well, this game had me think beyond the normal jump startles. Sometimes it took time to figure out what to do next and sometimes I just stumbled forward on a lucky streak :o]
Overall a compelling game with nice twists and turns that encourage the player to keep on trucking.Then there's the end...

Really cool game, liked it a lot, the only complaint I have is during the sneak section no mater what I did I would get seen by the flashlight. I was able to get past it, but I think that part should be a little more forgiving other than having to do it prefect. Other than that great game!
The Flashlight-Section was done with raycasts, its pretty easy when you know where to stand, tho :)
Oh, ok, that explains why it only worked when I stood in a certain spot.
This was not bad. Definitely creepy. Made a video on it.

I like it! Got a bit stuck on the 2nd keypad puzzle but knew I was close and finally got it. I'm been working on my own horror game that takes place on a boat, so I thought it was super interesting to see another! Keep up the good work.
